DEFINITION* ILLUSTRATION* *Definition- In your OWN words. (You can use the teacher’s definition, but then you must reword it in your own way.) Be careful of dictionary definitions that may not zero in on what we want specifically. Illustration- Use the full space and must have multiple colors. More than stick figures; make them fancy with clothes and details. Don’t forget labels as necessary. No clip art!!* POS Antonyms Synonyms Non-example Roots Word forms (prefixes and suffixes) In class, we learned… Who What When Where Why Classroom Context- examples, connections, etc. Must use all five Ws in one to two well written sentences. You also MUST concentrate examples on the eastern hemisphere and use the vocab word in the context. You may do more than one example * *Characteristics- antonyms, synonyms, part of speech, non-examples, word forms, roots, affixes, etc. (Do as many of these as you can. USE A DICTIONARY!!!)
