The Rest in Peace Plan A Solution That Truly Makes Sense
2
At the end of life’s journey and our time on earth is done, there is one thing common to all families – decisions on how we best honor our loved ones. GHBF 01
3
Unless death has come suddenly, there is usually a prolonged financial drain on the family, with new pressures coming to bear as the family struggles to properly honor the departed. GHBF 02
4
Families struggle to find a balance between doing what they really feel is right in honoring their loved one and the reality of the financial expense of taking care of final arrangements. GHBF 03
5
Unfortunately, the financial side of the equation wins out with the family barely scraping by to do the minimum, hating every minute of it and embarrassed over their inability to do more. GHBF 04
6
. . . and with funeral costs ranging from $7,000 to $10,000 it is easy to see how even the most astute planners struggle with the unexpected costs of providing funeral arrangements. GHBF 05
7
It is not intentional, just sometimes there are no alternatives.
Too many people die without making provisions for their final expenses, leaving the burden on family members. It is not intentional, just sometimes there are no alternatives. GHBF 06
8
Many are faced with the high cost of life insurance and sometimes major health issues that crop up late in life to drive up premiums even more. GHBF 07
9
The average cost of life insurance, even for a healthy 70 year old is sometimes over $100 per month.
Being on a fixed retirement income, as many seniors are, that cost is just too high to overcome. GHBF 08
10
And when you factor in health conditions, even those that are in better financial shape have difficulty paying the increased premiums. GHBF 09
11
. . . and death then leaves the family with the financial burden of paying for the final expenses.
Families struggle to come up with the bare minimum to pay for the funeral and associated costs. GHBF 10
12
That’s just the way it has been until now . . .
Finally, there is a viable, cost effective solution that just makes good sense. GHBF 11
13
That simple, workable solution that families are finding is the
Rest in Peace plan, provided by Integrity Benevolence Partners, a Texas-based non-profit membership organization that is designed to help cover the majority of final expenses. GHBF 12
14
The Rest in Peace plan is NOT INSURANCE, but rather is a cooperative sharing of the burdens of final expenses with the help of others. It is not designed to meet all financial needs, but plays a major role in helping with final expenses. GHBF 13
15
Almost everyone qualifies and the cost is around 1/3 to ½ the cost of a life insurance contract.
The Rest in Peace plan IS NOT LIFE INSURANCE, but the member benefits provide funding to cover the funeral costs of final arrangements. GHBF 14
16
Members make monthly donations and benefits are paid out, at their death, according to what level of membership they have chosen. A small enrollment fee, along with the first month donation, is all needed to get going. GHBF 15
