It was very cold so being outside all day was miserable Also known as the Ardennes Offensive When we (Germany) created a bulge in the Allied front line

5 Timeline of the War December 16, The German Army launch their Ardennes Offensive against elements of the American US VIII located between Aachen and Bastogne December 17- The town of Stavelot is lost to the invading German Advances December 19- About 6000 Allied troops surrender to the encircling German Army at Schnee Eiffel December 23- Allied forces attack Germans and there is little they can do in response December 28- Hitler orders a halt to the advance, but no retreat February 7, All of the Germans gains of the Battle of the Bulge have been erased

These were the things I was required to wear in the war. We had to make sure we blended in, but also it was extremely cold since it was the middle of winter, so with these we wore a lot of layers to try to stay warm.
