Table titles, subtitles and short descriptions are stored and managed in system TMT (EN, DE, FR).
Code lists are stored and managed in Eurobase (EN, DE, FR).
Allowing 23 official languages would require changing each of those two systems where data are stored and managed (TMT, refcl) -> would only be used for very few items.
TMT & Eurobase are currently internal Eurostat systems, with no current possibility to open these for external users (NSIs)
