Add
Step 1: Add the ones. Regroup the ones if needed.
Step 2: Add the tens, regrouping if needed.
Step 3: Add the hundreds.
Model this on the board step by step, or have students do it on slates/communicator boards.

9. Adding More than 2 Numbers
You can always add three numbers using the old-fashioned addition method. Start with the ones, then the tens, hundreds, and so on. Regroup if necessary.
