(SLIDE 5) It is always preferable to employees to have amenities within close distance of their workplace (Brown, 2000). Currently, the only options available to employees who are hungry or thirsty during work is the break room which requires employees to bring in their own lunches or snacks which is not always possible on those rushed mornings. There is also the option of vending machines which only provide water or soda for beverages and junk food such as chips and candy for snacks. The Deli and Coffee Shop will provide employees with healthy food that increases their energy throughout the day resulting in more productivity. When employees reach a low in their workday and find themselves overly tired there is a large risk of mistakes occurring. The all day availability to coffee provides employees with an option for getting their dose of caffeine to wake up and get their work done efficiently. Since the Deli and Coffee Shop is located within the River View Plaza where many businesses are located the Deli and Coffee Shop will serve a wide range of clientele. Aside from the employees that work within the River View Plaza there is also going to be a line of customers from outside the businesses. This new line of customers will bring in a revenue to DigiFast and spread the knowledge of DigiFast software company with the DigiFast Wi-Fi that is offered through the Deli and Coffee Shop. Aside from these many benefits the Deli and Coffee Shop will also prove to have financial benefits for DigiFast. According to the Out of Home Coffee Consumption Report the revenue in the coffee industry is in the millions (Talk About Coffee, 2010). Coffee is a low cost produce that results in high earnings. Providing additional items of top of the coffee products will only increase profits. The Deli and Coffee Shop is expected to produce profits though the profits will be low to begin. As the clientele grows the profits will too.

(SLIDE 6) The proposed Deli and Coffee Shop increase many aspects of the employee/employer relationship (Brown, 2000). Employers view their importance to the company and feel appreciated. In return, the employees happiness at work improves their overall performance resulting in benefits for the organization. The health of DigiFast will increase with the enhancements in the business operations and productivity. According to a poll taken within the United States 79% of employees say that they are more productive when they have access to coffee at their place of employment (Talk About Coffee, 2010). With the Deli and Coffee Shop being located on the first floor there is large potential for customers coming from outside of the River View Plaza. The additional clientele will add to the number of consumers who are familiar with the businesses that are present within the River View Plaza building. As the businesses within the Plaza become more known it is highly likely that their profits too will increase with the increase in popularity. Being that the Deli and Coffee Shop is promoted by DigiFast the promotion of DigiFast through the free Wi-Fi puts our organization at a good position to promote our software products at no additional cost.
