Reflection slide(7) Francois millet – I like his art because there are so awesome and their baste on history and every colors that he use tells us the story of that painting and what happen in the past. (Realism) to me is crazy and awesome! because there are look like in real life story and there are awesome because artist paint it with their heart and they tell us the story and what happen in the past and baste on history and the color makes it colorful. That’s why I choose the realism. Facts about realism:Realism as a nameable phenomenon in Western thought and culture emerged in France during the mid-nineteenth century. Primarily a movement in art and literature, it claimed to represent common people and their everyday circumstances based on accurate observation. Realism challenged centuries of tradition, when the highest art aspired to idealized pictorial forms and heroic subjects. Supporters of realist art considered its veracity to be an indication of an artist’s “sincerity,” a moral judgment.
