Reasons for starting-
BYOD- Graves County High School adopted program to which the orchestra director and I thought of the idea.
My school’s choir program had been nicknamed “Defense Against the Dark Arts” as no teacher had stayed for very long. I needed to revamp in a major way. Motivation and expectations were low.
I was also participating in KTIP and found this an easy way to prove the use of technology in a choral setting.

Students use devices to video themselves performing assignments.
Students upload their videos to YouTube and share privately to the directors address.
Teacher can view and comment on videos.
4 Easy Steps
1.Students create private YouTube accounts for choir purposes only.
2.Students use devices such as cell phones, laptops, digital cameras, webcams, flip cameras, or tablets to video themselves performing assignments.
3.Students upload their videos to YouTube and share privately to the directors address.
4.Teacher can view and comment on videos that are not searchable by the public, so feedback is kept confidential.

Provide a link to a free virtual keyboard and/or keyboard app
Provide clear instructions for uploading
Create an folder to store assignments as they are received.
Use an mp3 app to record any examples you might need
