When Will He Return?

Many have tried to set dates and failed.
1 Thess. 5:1-3 2 Peter 3:10, “as a thief in the night”
Matt. 24:36, 42-43, No one knows but the Father only.
He could return at any moment!

5. It Will Be Visible and Literal
Some date setters claim He did return but was not seen!
1 Thess. 4:16, “the Lord will descend with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.”
Rev. 1:7, “Every eye will see Him!”
2 Tess. 1:7, “Revealed”

6. It Will Be Final
No multiple returns, no 1000 year reign, etc.
1 Cor. 15:23-24, “the end” will be when He delivers the kingdom back to the Father.
2 Peter 3:10-11, heavens and earth will melt with fervent heat

7. When He Comes…
The dead will be raised – John 5:28-29, Acts 24:15
The kingdom will end – 1 Cor. 15:22-24
We will face judgment – Heb. 9:27, 2 Tim. 4:1
New heavens and new earth – 2 Peter 3:13
