11 What can I do to Help? It has been proven that pupils don’t retain information by purely reading. Notes Mind maps Revision cards Revision in silence with no other distractions is the best preparation for exams

12 What can I do to Help? Familiarise yourself with the courses your child is taking. Look at the relevant syllabuses online. Past papers and mark schemes are there to be downloaded. Buy revision guides for all courses.

13 What can I do to Help? Ensure there is a designated place (Work Station) for revision to take place. Remove the Xbox phone and TV when revising. Produce revision timetable – make it sensible and stick to it! Any Questions - ASK
