10. How Can I be in English in 8 th Grade? You will take a Reading Proficiency Test in your current Language Arts class in April. Based on that test score, you will be placed in either a 2-period LA block, OR a 1-period English class. We will NOT know your placement until you return in August.

11. You may have the opportunity to have 2 electives in your schedule next year. Choose the equivalent of 5 class periods Choose back-ups LETS LOOK AT THE ELECTIVES NOW and ASK QUESTIONS ELECTIVES

13. Why Should I Choose My Electives Wisely? Students are not guaranteed elective choices, however, most students receive their 1 st, 2 nd or 3 rd Elective choices. We can not honor schedule change requests in the Fall.
