Agenda Item Agenda Title Status in the Negotiations SBSTA Agenda Item 11 (A) Matters relating to Article 6.2 of the Paris Agreement: Guidance on Cooperative Approaches … cooperative approaches that involve the use of internationally transferred mitigation outcomes towards nationally determined contributions… Parties engaged in initial exchange of views Parties agreed to focus on establishing common understanding at SBSTA 45 (November 2016) Parties and observer organizations were invited to submit their views by 30 September 2016 SBSTA Agenda Item 11 (B) Rules, modalities and procedures for the Mechanism established by PA’s Article 6.4 “A mechanism to contribute to the mitigation of GHG emissions and support sustainable development is hereby established under the authority and guidance of the CMP for use by Parties on a voluntary basis.” SBSTA Agenda Item 11 (C) Work programme under the framework for Non-Market Approaches referred to in PA’s Article 6.8 “Parties recognize the importance of integrated, holistic and balanced non-market approaches being available to Parties to assist in the implementation of their nationally determined contributions, in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication…”
