Contrast-enhanced computed tomography images of the liver show a giant mixed-density subcapsular hematoma (white arrows) that measured 18 cm anteroposterior × 5.5 cm wide. Several low-density channels are shown tracking through the liver and communicating with the subcapsular hematoma (black arrows). A central hematoma was also noted near the confluence of the hepatic veins (A, thin arrow).
