On being advised of a Building Evacuation …
Upon discovery of a
fire …
Assist any person in immediate danger ONLY IF SAFE to do so.
Activate the Break Glass Fire Alarm if fitted.
Contact Security Control Room on x46666 or
Attack fire with appropriate equipment ONLY IF SAFE to do so.
Follow your Building Emergency Evacuation Procedures.
Comply with all instructions given by Chief / Deputy Warden or Wardens.
Leave the building via the nearest safe emergency exit.
You may also need to break the glass on the Emergency Door Release to unlock doors.
Proceed to the building’s Emergency Assembly Area and remain there until otherwise advised.
