10 Top Section Award Each Top Section Award contains the following components: Review youths’ personal progression Achieve the required Outdoor Adventure Skill stages Provide the required hours of community service Complete a meaningful service project Final Review Presentation of the Award 5 minutes

12 Personal Progression Our group hasn’t had much success with personal progression badges and top section awards.  We’ve tried to promote it to the youth and the parents but it seems like they mostly prefer to keep scouting to a ‘once a week’ activity and not something they’d necessarily want to do on the ‘off days’.  How do we promote and entice the youth into the personal progression activities? In the past Sections have held badge nights. Would badge nights increase interest? The role of PABs is giving members an opportunity to explore new interests. If a team has a common interest there would be nothing stopping them from creating their own trail card/badge card.  10 minutes
