9 Comparison of three methods to detect low level of bed bug infestations 1.Resident interview- 4 of 10 residents noticed bed bug bites 2.Visual inspection- average of 6.7 bed bugs per apartment 3.Climbup TM interceptor after 7 days- average of 8.8 bed bugs per apartment

10 Climbup TM interceptor with lure beside a refrigerator in the kitchen 12 bed bugs and 63 German cockroaches were trapped after 8 days.

11 Conclusions of Bed Bug Interceptor Studies Resident interview and visual counts are not reliable. Interceptors are effective in detecting low levels of bed bug infestations.
