2. What is Scoliosis?
Scoliosis is the abnormal lateral curvature of the spine.

3. I have scoliosis myself and it can be very painful most of the time
I have scoliosis myself and it can be very painful most of the time. My back hurts most of the time and it usually won’t stop hurting until I lay down. Some people have it a lot worse than others. The higher degree of a curve that the spine has, usually the more pain the person is going to have.

4. Cause & Treatment
The real cause for scoliosis is unknown, but it is hereditary. The severity of some will not pass down through a family though.
The treatments for scoliosis are surgery and wearing a back brace. The treatment depends on how severe the curvature of the spine is.
