Lituanica - Lithuanian Stephen Darius and Stasys Girėnas controlled aircraft in 1933 and successfully crossed the Atlantic Ocean and died in Poland.

1940-09-03 annexation of Lithuania occurred - Lithuania has become an integral part of the USSR.
In the first Soviet occupation, more than six thousand former Lithuanian officials were arrested. the first deportations began, and 17.5 thousand of Lithuanians were arrested and transported.
