Transportation is currently the second-largest expense for U.S. households
Connected cars are the 3rd fastest-growing mobile device; connected car hardware and software will bring in $152 Billion in 2020
There are 73 Million U.S. Millennials, they are to-date driving 20% less those of the previous decade
By 2045, Americans over 65 will increase by 77%; 1/3 with a disability that limits their mobility
Today, nearly 1/3 of all commutes begin and end in the suburbs – and it is expected to remain so; new modes of transportation needs to accommodate population location; Only 8% of Millennials prefer to live in auto- dependent suburbs
As online shopping market share increases, it is expected to reduce need for private vehicle ownership; however it will likely increase truck traffic as goods are delivered to residences
