Your body only sweats in response to something. In this case, it was the heat.

The endocrine system is a collection of organs that control growth, development, and response to environment.

The nervous system is a network of cells, tissues, and organs that control thoughts, movements, and simple life processes.

Central Nervous System (CNS): includes the brain and spinal cord
Central Nervous System (CNS): includes the brain and spinal cord. It interprets information received from other parts of the body.

Peripheral Nervous System (PNS): Network of nerves that transmit messages to and from the CNS.

Remember that communication is absolutely necessary for maintaining homeostasis – a state of constant internal stability within the body.

Homeostasis examples:
Shivering to warm up when you’re cold. Sweating to cool down when you’re hot. _______________ when you need more water. _______________ when you have too much water.
