Look for a source you could use that would answer your research question.

5. Write one paragraph explaining how and why your source is relevant to your research topic and your lens.

After our discussion, you will submit your bubble map, research question, lens, and paragraph.

Find the author’s opinion and explain their perspective.
Write one paragraph that explains each article. (Two paragraphs total)
Find at least two more sources that would help you create an argument about GMOs.
Based upon the information you found, do you support the use of GMOs in our foods? Explain using your sources. Your response should be one paragraph.

What argument is being made?
Is the argument supported with evidence? Explain.
What other sources do you need to confirm/deny claims made in the film?
After the film….
Find one sourced that supports the claims being made in the film.
Find one source that denies the claims being made in the film.
Would you use this film as a source? Explain your answer.

11. Hunger Strikes Before you read…. How do you determine what is ethical?
How do ethics vary depending upon the individual?
How do personal experiences influence one’s ethics? Explain, using one example.
While you read and after you read…
What is the opinion of the author?
What is their process of logic? Do they have a logical explanation of their views? Explain.
To what extent do you agree with the author? Explain.

12. Hunger Strikes After you read…. RAVEN the source.
Write one paragraph that describes information and research provided by the source.
Create a research question about hunger strikes and ethics.
Find two more sources that would help to answer your research question. Each source should be a different type. Types of sources you can find would be editorial, visual (pictures, documentaries, art), primary (an original document such as a legal code), quantitative (a graph, survey results (such as a poll).
Write a one paragraph explanation of how the two additional sources would be useful in creating an argument about hunger strikes.
