4. How do we function?
We meet online every Wednesday night from 7- 8 pm EST.
We use free, easy to install software called ZOOM. The software allows members to see and hear each other plus share videos, slide shows and documents.
Members may use desktop computers, laptops, tablets or mobile phones to access our meetings.
We have a Club Board just like any other Rotary Club and the Board meets online once per month.
Our club also has a Craft/Book Club for interested members and non-members. This club meets online monthly.

7. Members
Many of our members have previous Rotary experience and are either retired, or spend time travelling in RVs.
Some members do not have RVs & do not travel regularly, but they like the convenience of doing things online but still being a Rotarian.
Several members have partners in other Rotary Clubs.
Few of our members have transferred from existing Rotary clubs. We do not seek out existing Rotarians as members of the Nomads.
We obtain members through word-of-mouth and advertising (CMCA magazine, RDU, etc).

8. Communication
In addition to our online meetings, we have a private Facebook page used as a meeting forum for members, which no one else can access.
We also have a public Facebook site for publicity purposes.

If your club has any events where you might need some added hands, please let us know the details (well in advance) and the Rotary Nomads may be able to assist. If your event is profitable, we would love to receive a donation to show you have appreciated our support and so we can fund our own projects.
