1. Classification Kingdoms and Classes
Classification is sorting out all organisms into groups according to the similarities between them.
Organisms are divided into 6 kingdoms. In this unit we will be studying 2 of these kingdoms: the animal kingdom and the plant kingdom. Each kingdom can be further divided until the species level is reached.

3. Animal Kingdom Invertebrates Vertebrates:
Those animals with an no skeleton or an exterior skeleton (exoskeleton) and NO backbone.
Vertebrates:
Those animals with an internal skeleton (endoskeleton) and a backbone.
