Thank you to all who have signed up to help make our day special. We will begin around 12:30 and break for recess from 1-1:30 and finish up after recess.
Parents: We are getting a lot of money in the money pouch that is loose and the children aren’t sure what it is for. Of course they want to go to the school store, but I want to make sure the money is going where it is intended to go. Remember if you are sending in money, please put it in an envelope or ziploc baggie with your child’s name and label what it is for. (example: lunch, school store, donation day—hat day, book fair, Scholastic News, field trip, etc.) Also, if it is lunch money, please put your child’s lunch number on the front as well. You can find this in their folder as student number. Thank you all so much for your help! 

Letterland: Unit Twelve
Students will learn to blend five consonants with I and continue to sort words by short vowel sounds. Our Spelling test on these words will be on Friday, December 16th.
**Our next spelling test (Unit 13) will not be until January 6, 2017.
Penguin Patch Christmas Shoppe
Coddle Creek would like to welcome Penguin Patch Christmas Shoppe to our school the week of Dec 12-16, children will be able to shop on a budget of under $10 for gifts for Family and Friends!! Our day to shop is Friday!!
Christmas Around the World
First grade will be wrapping up their Christmas Around the World unit this week. Students will take their little suitcase and crafts home, and hopefully, they will share what they learned in Germany, Sweden, Russia, Mexico, England, France, Italy, Israel, and the USA.
