0 Bin Cycle Count Procedure
Why do a 0 Bin Cycle Count? You may have bins with 0 items but TBare says that you still have “X” amount Qty on Hand This can occur when: Qty on Hand was not properly entered into the system previously Items are not properly checked out Etc.

What’s the Impact? If a bin has 0 items remaining but in TBare there is still a Qty on Hand, and that Qty on Hand is above your Re-Order Point, then TBare will NOT alert you to re-order that item

Step 1: Create a Cycle Count User Purpose: Any inventory adjustments under this user name will be tracked This assists you if you want to view Checkout History to see how often you have to make adjustments You can check if there is any trend where this is re-occuring for a specific bin, allowing you to investigate further

Step 1: Create a Cycle Count User Log In under the Admin Role Click on the “Manage” Menu Click on Staff Click on “Enable Edit” In the new line that appears enter the following: Badge No: 33333 First Name: Cycle Last Name: Count Staff Role: Crib Attendant Active: Check the Box Click “Apply Changes” Exit out of the screen Log Out Change to User Type to the Technician/Crib Attendant role Log In under the Cycle Count user to test that it works

Step 2: Do your 0 Bin Cycle Count Walk Through. Undock your scanner. Walk through your crib and scan any bin that has 0 items remaining in it

Step 3: Procede to Check Out Screen Dock your scanner and sign in as the Cycle Count user Click on “Batch Check Out” All bins that were scanned during your walk through should appear on this screen

Step 4: Adjusting Qty on Hand Any items scanned that already show a Qty on Hand of 0 do not need to be checked out Please uncheck those items so that they are not checked out If any item that was scanned shows a Qty on Hand above 0, then it must be adjusted Click on the “Qty to Check Out” field for that item and adjust the number so that it will reduce the Qty on Hand to 0 Once you have adjusted the necessary quantities and have unchecked items that did not need to be adjusted, click “Check Out” Once you check out, the items that you unchecked will still be on the scanner Please click “Delete File from Scanner” to remove any remaining items You may now log out

Step 5: Reviewing Check Out History If you want to view a log of your Cycle Count transactions (items that had to be adjusted), you can use the “Check Out History” feature in TBare In this screen, you can filter on the “Out To” field to find only transactions that were done under the Cycle Count user This list can be printed or exported to Excel under the “File” menu
