Urban Search and Rescue Badge Criteria Attend 3-day USAR Course at CDA Practical Assessment on Basic Rescue Equipment, 4- Point Suspension, Ladder and Donning of Breathing Apparatus Unit Best Cadet Badge Criteria Minimum Rank CPL Outstanding as a cadet Good Academic Records Good Discipline in Corps as well as School At least 4 NCDCC Proficiency Badges Regular Attendance for all activities Smartness in bearing and turnout Contributed to progress of school unit Good Leadership SCDF-NCDCC Pinnacle Badge Criteria At least SSG in Sec 4/5 Possess Total Defence Badge, Footdrill Badge, Adventure Training Camp, National Heritage and 4 CD Badges + CD Knowledge Badge Passed NAPFA Possess Good Attributes – Conduct, Commitment, Performanance, Attitude, Attendance.

SCDF-NCDCC Pinnacle Badge Criteria For SSG or WO, impressive contributions recorded , interviewed and selected as one of top 100 NCDCC cadets in Singapore. For CLTs, passed and completed CLT course with 70% at least for CD Knowledge Test score Passed NAPFA Possess Good Attributes – Conduct, Commitment, Performance, Attitude, Attendance during training. Scored 70% and above for CD knowledge Good assessment by SCDF trainers/NCDCC officers Urban Search and Rescue Badge Criteria Attend 3-day USAR Course at CDA Practical Assessment on Basic Rescue Equipment, 4- Point Suspension, Ladder and Donning of Breathing Apparatus

Obtained Compulsory Proficiency Badges required for promotion to next higher rank For SSG(Staff Sergeant) , need to complete and pass Senior NCO Course Good Attitude Good Attendance at training sessions and lectures Completed 6 hrs CIP a year.

Optional badges – Cadets have to attend the lectures and complete
the module/practical test. However, they do not need to pass the test for that optional badge to promote to the next higher rank. For example : A Sec 1 cadet has the Footdrill(bronze) as an optional badge. He / she will be required to take the lessons and tests but even if he/she fails the Footdrill test, he or she can still promote to the next rank of LCP as long as he/she has passed and obtained the compulsory badges.
