1. Class Participation
The presentation write-up and response are separate assignments. Both assignments should be ed to me and to everyone in your group. The presentation write-up should be sent before class on the day of your presentation, and the presentation response should be sent after the presentations.
Write complete paragraphs in both assignments.

2. Class Participation Presentation write-up:
The write-up will allow you to make a five-minute presentation to your group.
Select words from the poem to recite to your group. This excerpt from your poem should be in your write-up.
A one-paragraph explanation for how you are related to the poem and to the poet. You will probably have to give a brief summary of the poem and a brief biography of the poet.
A one-paragraph description of the problem.

3. Class Participation Presentation response:
A one-paragraph comparison and contrast between your poem and the poem of one of your group members. Clearly identify the group member you are responding to.
A one-paragraph description of how you and/or the poem you will write about is related to the poem or problem of the group member you are responding to.
