Introduction Main goal: Describing how your experiences and education are relevant for the position Got to impress 2 people: the computer and the recruiter (30 sec to impress them) To the point yet descriptive Don’t lie- not worth it!

Formatting Length: 1 Page
Margins: Typically 1 inch but can be half-inch if needed Font: Between size (Headings can be larger than bullet points) Consistent. Use a plain-type font like times-new roman Black Spacing: Constant Good Quality Paper Chronological Order (typically). Functional also works

Relevant Experience You probably won’t have enough room to fit in all the information that you want to. Select the most relevant and industry-specific points to highlight. Include as many leadership positions, volunteering, and teamwork as possible. Make use of specific key words relevant to your major. (control, analysis, excel, reviewed, etc.) Can also include customer service positions (waiter, cashier, or customer service representative)

Recruiters want to see that you do more than just go to class
Soft skills For example: Team work, Communication, Community Help etc.. Stand out here. You’re more than just a Junior!
