Attendance & Tardies 8:00 a.m.-Students begin to come to class
8:20 a.m.-Students must be in classroom 10:00 a.m.-Students not in school are marked absent Note or phone call to office is necessary if student is absent

Lunch and Snacks Lunch money-place in envelope or ziplock bag and label with child’s first and last name, teacher’s name, and “lunch” Lunch box or tray from lunch line? Snacks One snack time during the day Time is limited Only one snack needed Pack snack separately from lunch No juice, yogurt, or items needing spoon. Dry snack only The only liquid allowed in classroom: Water

always Bring your I.D.!!! Each and every time you come to the school, you will be asked for your I.D. This is district policy. It is for your child’s safety. We appreciate your cooperation!

Change of Way Home Parent note required
Phone calls or s will not be accepted Notes faxed to office are permissible with date and parent signature

Shorts and skirts should pass fingertip test No spaghetti straps Extra clothing in backpack Buttons, zippers, and belts Tennis shoes Take Home Folder Sent home daily Parents review and initial or sign Papers stay at home unless otherwise indicated

Champs Memorial Parkway is a CHAMP school. We focus on the positive to help students remember procedures for different common activities. Students practice in computer lab Assessment done at the beginning of each month Available for students to use at home

Homework Listed on monthly calendar in take home folder
Concentrate on one language each night by reviewing letters, sounds, and sight words Read each night with your child Homework may include math and reading practice Raz Kids will soon be available for students to use to practice reading.
