Graduated from Purdue University – Social Studies Education.
Taught in Indiana, then New Orleans, LA, before coming to WW Samuell.

8. Superb six
1. Sense of Urgency - this means that you are not wasting time. You follow directions the first time they are given without disruption. We do not have time to waste.
2. Perfect Transitions - we have to move quickly and efficiently. You should follow all directions the first time and move quickly and silently.
3. Perfect Professionalism - You are awake in class, attentive, and alert. Your head is up and you are speaking with respect to one another and following all classroom expectations. Moreover, you do not speak over anyone. Lastly, you come to class prepared. This means you have your textbook, something to write with, and a pencil every day!
4. Community - When someone is struggling, you help them. You support your classmates with words of encouragement and avoid any teasing. We are all on the same team and we are here to help one another.
5. Academic Excellence - All of your work is turned in on time and completed fully.
6. Active Participation – raise hands to contribute meaningful comments and questions.
Points are earned for each component accomplished in class, a maximum of six points per class. Points are awarded collectively for each class. Once a total of 35 points has been earned, that entire class will earn two bonus points on the next unit exam.
