2. Reminders
You forget that you are taking a “HIGH SCHOOL CLASS IN A MIDDLE SCHOOL BUILDING” and that this class is “NOT A BOOK CLASS”.
You have to keep up with daily assignments (level of rigor has been below average and needs to step up)
Class participation needs to be at 100% .
Be prepared, have your daily SUPPLIES and do your work.
There will be consequences for lack of preparedness and class disruptions, as well as non completion of classwork.
Silly behaviors will not be tolerated, you are expected to follow school and classroom rules.

3. Consequences…
If you do not maintain a “C” semester average will not be promoted to French II or Spanish II in high school and will need to repeat French I or Spanish I.
Teacher will strictly follow FSMS discipline procedures
Frequent calls home will be made.
You will have to sign and date daily CLASS WORK LOG at the end of class if you do not complete your assigned classwork for that day. 

4. “I can help”
I have “OPEN DOOR” policy with students on campus and via the web ( , my web page, quizlet, remind, etc…)
I maintain an active and up to date website, which provides all class information for students and parents.
If you need tutoring stop by after school (Let me know in advance)
I will continue to communicate with parents (good & bad reports)

5. “At home”
Help your parents become familiar with the teacher’s website and all of the categories of the site.
Complete your homework/projects and study your vocabulary nightly on Quizlet or index cards.

6. Keep up with your progress…
Check PORTAL often, perhaps weekly to stay current on your progress in all of your classes.
Review your schedule and school performance to see areas that need improvement.
