Dr. Lash is a professor in the Rollins School of Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology at Emory University and leader of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program at Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute. He is editor-in-chief of Epidemiology, co-author of Modern Epidemiology (3rd edition) and co-author of Applying Quantitative Bias Analysis to Epidemiologic Data.
Lash’s research focuses on molecular biomarkers and prescription medications that affect cancer recurrence. His methodologic interest focuses on quantifying and interpreting sources of non-random error in epidemiologic research.
