Scenario: Debra Wakes up Grumpy
Each morning Debra wakes up early for school and feels grumpy. She decides to program an alarm clock to a random talk radio station, Hot 97, to help wake her up. Every morning for a month she wakes up to the radio station and still feels grumpy. One day she is riding home from school in her friends car. Her friends put on the radio station Hot 97. Debra instantly starts to feel grumpy. She begins to notice that every time she listens any talk radio she feels grumpy, but not when she listens to classical radio. Debra decides to use the regular beep alarm on her clock to wake up. For a little while she continues to feel grumpy every time she hears talk radio, but one day she listens and feels fine. Months later, Debra is still using the beep alarm and randomly hears a talk radio station and feels grumpy.
