2. Inference-
Inference- One of many strategies used in reading and observing.
An educated guess formed by using background knowledge and personal experiences to draw conclusions not explicitly stated.
TAKING IN FACTS OR INFORMATION AND COMING UP WITH OUR OWN CONCLUSION.

3. When To Use Inference-
Not knowing all the facts and you piece together the entire story using prior knowledge or experience.
Example: Your dog barking… What can you infer?
You call a friend and the phone keeps on ringing…what can you infer?

4. Archaeologists Using Inference-
Archaeologist must use all the evidence or facts they can gather to interpret the record of an artifact or culture.
But remember all the information may not be there so… they piece what they do have with what they already know. This is inference.
