2. Wine Making for Passover הכנת יין לפסח
The children pulled the grapes from their stems. We cooked the grapes in a big pot. The children then mashed the grapes then strained them through a filter. They then poured the “wine” into small bottles ending the “wine” making process. The bottles were labeled with the message “Happy Holidays”.
הילדים קטפו את הענבים מהאשכולות. בשלנו את הענבים בסיר גדול. לאחר מכן הילדים מעכו את הענבים והעבירו את המיץ דרך פילטר . לאחר מכן מזגו את היין לתוך בקבוקים קטנים ותם תהליך הכנת ה"יין". על הבקבוקים הדבקנו תוויות של: "חג שמח"

“Busy working with Grandfather smashing all the juice from the grapes and straining the juice through a coffee filter to make the juice into wine before we pour it into our bottle”.
"הייתי מאוד עסוק, יחד עם סבא במעיכת הענבים וסחיטת המיץ מהם. לאחר מכן העברנו את המיץ דרך פילטר של קפה בכדי להפכו ליין לפני שמזגנו לבקבוקים".

4. Making a Matzah Plate הכנת מגש למצה
Grandparents and mom’s help the children to watercolor trays for the Seder Matzah. When they are dry will fold up the sides to make the tray.
סבא וסבתא עזרו לילדים לצבוע בצבעי מים "מגש למצות" לסדר. כשזה יתייבש, נקפל את הצדדים ונכין את המגש.

5. Decorating a Pillowcase קישוט של ציפית של כרית לאפיקומן
The students used stencils and fabric paint to decorate their pillowcases. They will be a beautiful addition to their Seders.
הילדים השתמשו בצבעי בד וסטנסיל בכדי לקשט את הציפיות. זו תהיה תוספת נפלאה לסדר.
Mom’s help the children make their pillowcases. Sharing their love with the children.
האמהות עזרו לילדים להכין את הציפה לאפיקומן. הם חלקו את אהבתם עם כל הילדים

We are learning the prayers for the food at the Passover Seder table with our families and friends. They are invited to share in tasting the food at our Seders.
