Client : Nokia, the world’s leading mobile phone supplier went ahead with one of its biggest launch in the New Year, the Nokia N97 Mini. Challenge: Touted as the ‘Social Phone’ it targets the social media enthusiasts who with this device can update their social networks real-time. The company was therefore keen to tap on the net savvy population and what better platform can they get from 123greetings to boost their launch pad. Execution: Even we at 123greetings were keen to partner Nokia to provide our users the product India was waiting for. All ad sizes were taken up by Nokia to ensure the product gets a 100% coverage. Even a Roadblock ad unit was placed prior to the homepage loading on specific days to greet users with the launch. Results: Within the first few days it was clear that the launch with 123greetings was a great success as every ad unit positioned on the site received great click through rates. It was evident that the huge net savvy traffic of 123greetings had welcomed the Nokia N97 mini phone with great enthusiasm and had clicked on every creative to further explore about the product. The primary objective—an increase in the number of active subscribers—was far surpassed in only one month of planning and production. Nokia was happy with the results, which exceeded quantitative objectives, and from a qualitative standpoint exposed the brand to a target it had never before reached.
