The Jobs Gateway in South Eastern Europe Community of Practice

The SEE Jobs Gateway Community of Practice (CoP) established in 2015 to support and facilitate knowledge exchanges on successful employment policies between Western Balkan countries and between Western Balkan and high-income OECD countries A website ( launched in 2017 to support collaboration, to collect information and record knowledge exchange events and to present up-to-date labor market data for Western Balkan and benchmark countries including Austria As of current, there are 242 members, mainly academics, experts, practitioners and policy makers who are working to create jobs with high development returns in the region

While content is available to public, registration is required to collaborate, share and engage. Community of practice - Knowledge sharing
The platform brings together a network of experts, collects examples of best practices, and facilitates the exchange of information between members through scheduled video-conference learning events and annual conferences Examples of most recent video-conference learning events: Evaluating Croatia’s Active Labor Market Policies Reviewing the Outcomes of Diaspora Engagement in Economic Development in Kosovo Reviewing the Prilike Initiative in Montenegro: Practical Experiences and Insights from an Impact Evaluation Conferences: 2nd Conference on Western Balkans Labor Markets – March 2018. 1st Conference on Western Balkans Labor Markets – participants attended the conference, with 65 participants joining from the region, including counterparts from Ministries of Labor, public employment services, statistics offices and international organizations such as ILO, RCC, ETF and the EC as well as leading scholars on labor markets in the Western Balkans. Skills Conference, including private sector day, with Austrian MoF and Austrian Federal Chamber of Commerce – 2015
