Picture Day is October 11th!
A Peek at the Week!
Reading: This the last week of unit 2 will include higher level reading with new vocabulary words and concepts. Review of main idea/detail, long vowel o and u, compare/contrast character traits and graphic features.
Math: Module 2 – Place value and problem solving with units of measure starts this week.
Writing: Students will finish their first narrative, and jump right into their next one later this week.
Science: We are starting work on the Solar System including an art project with Miss Nancy.
Homework
Monday: Read 20 minutes. MMU. Math Lesson 1. Unfinished work.
Tuesday: Read 20 minutes. Math Lesson 2
Wednesday: Read 20 minutes. MMU. Math Lesson 3. Unfinished work.
Thursday: Read weekly reading assessment. Math Lesson 4.
PE Days this week are Tuesday and Thursday!
Parent/Teacher conferences are NEXT WEEK!!
Scholars have weekly spelling assignments on Spelling City with varying activities to choose from. They will test each Friday online through Spelling City.
