Latin has an SOV (Subject – Object – Verb) sentence structure.
Latin is a verb-final language.

3. SVO vs. SOV I ate a pie. I a pie ate.
I am stealing money from the rich.
I from the rich money am stealing.
He dies.
He will soon be happy.
He soon happy will be.

4. Articles Articles refer to the English ‘the’ or ‘a(n)’.
Articles do not exist in Latin.
Therefore, the Latin rosa may represent the English ‘rose’, ‘the rose’, or ‘a rose’.
