2. Okay, “stompi” is a tool we can use to write Afrikaans sentences.
S: Subjek (subject)
V1 verb 1(werkwoord)
T: Tyd (time)
O: Objek (object)
M: Manier (manner)
V2 verb 2(werkwoord)
P: Plek (place)
I: Infinitief (infinitive) *this is not always needed in every sentence*
This is the subject
This is the time
Object
Manner
Place
Ek gaan nou met die hond vinnig stap na die parkie toe. S T O M V2 P V1

3. Wat gebruik ons in verlede tyd?
We use the suffixes “het” and “ge”
We use “Stompi” to show is where to put these suffixes.
These are going to change.

Take the verb and replace it with “het” and then put the verb at the end of the sentence with ”ge” added to it
Replace with “het”
Ek stap met die hond.
Put verb at the back of the sentence with “ge” added to it. S V1 O

4. So wat is die eindruseltaat?
Ek stap met die hond.
Ek het met die hond gestap.
Wow! I never knew it was so easy! Okay let me try one now…

5. Lets take this sentence:
Ek maak lekker kos
Ek het lekker kos gemaak
Jy sien Mickey, dis eintlik heelwat makliker as wat dit lyk!
I see Goofy! Thank you so much for explaining it to me! Nou kan ek met vertroue afrikaans praat!
