Why was it developed? As a 0-19 standards team, there was a growing need for a web presence. The 0-19 standards team were communicating to our schools, teachers and staff via . This had been a very unreliable method of communication because of the high turn over of staff in our schools. A web presence would allow our schools greater access to relevant, up to date information regarding statutory guidelines and key resources rather than waiting to be ed. Benefits to our schools for having a web presence are: Easily accessible up to date information The creation of on online network for our Southwark teachers Regular access to newsletters and up to date key information Traded services can be promoted and sold Raising the profile of the 0-19 standards team and communicating the positive effects that we are having on raising standards within our schools. Promoting Southwark as a place to begin your teaching career in order to respond to the current recruitment and retention issues that many of our schools are facing. We have a number of key areas that we cover such as Newly qualified teachers Leadership and Management Support Staff Early years Foundation stage Special Educational needs. School Governance

Feedback from users feedback Future Interesting outcomes
Schools say that it is: Helpful Easy to use Shows a more joined up service Good information and up-to date. Easy to navigate Website strategic board states that: They like having an autonomous site to promote their areas – very helpful to promote traded services Easy to use and easy to pick up for new members. Not over reliant on CPD to learn how to use – intuitive. Interesting outcomes Not everyone has a credit card Shift in culture autonomy in the booking process Being organised enough to book ahead Paying up front Refunds - Individual cost centres Interest from other children’s services areas Working with COMs Future Recruitment and retention site Managing the demand internally from other departments. Media skills Sustainability and capacity. Takes time to update and keep it fresh Images and pictures Not enough space to house the interest. C F Cahill 02/12/2018
