2 Realist/Impressionist artist use light to create a calming and serene effect
As Neil Patterson has said “Painting is all about passion. If you respond to the passion you have inside yourself, that’s when the real painting comes out”. (Neil Patterson Fine Art; About the Artist) This is clearly visible with three artists I have chosen, Thomas Kinkade, Chuck Pinson and Neil Patterson. All three contemporary, realist/impressionist artists have a passion to create works of art using light to create calming and serene effects. Their passion and love of art, and desires to please their audiences, is portrayed over and over in each creation.
