Many kinds of anti-competition practices are existing in the market in Lao PDR. They are Collective price fixing, Market sharing, Bid rigging, Exclusive price dealing, Discriminated dealing, Price maintenance, unfair trade, Unreasonable high price fixing, Enter barriers and Price dumping. The anti-competition practices are existing in all most economic sectors at medium until high level. Those anti-competition practices impact negatively on consumers at medium until high level. The business competition policies and laws are needed in Lao PDR. The anti-competition practices should be prohibited, but public interest should be excepted.
