Develop referral pathways for isolated/lonely individuals Heavily market and promote the logo to achieve brand recognition Continue dialogue with community groups re impact of isolation and loneliness Continue to strengthen the connection between community groups, encouraging a support network for isolated seniors. Learnings Lonely, older people want to connect to their communities, they just need reassurance and assistance. Whilst all clubs/groups think they are welcoming – the majority aren’t. The Self Audit tool gives is an unbiased and non-judgmental way of clubs/groups realising this. Peer audit is more acceptable to clubs/groups.
