3. ARGEM’s objectives
To promote and to improve the rational use of the energy. Training, advertising, etc.
To promulgate and to spread the saving and energy efficiency, both to industrial level and to all the citizens.
To support the implantation of renewable energies: solar thermal and photovoltaical, biomass, etc.
To take part in projects of renewable energies, giving technical support.
Advice to the Local and Regional Administrations in the energetic strategies design.
To exchange experiences worldwide, nationally, regionally and locally.

4. Covenant of Mayors
ARGEM is supporting structure of Covenant of Mayors in the Region of Murcia.
Nowadays 37 of 45 Municipalities has signed the Commitment
ARGEM has created the tools for the development of the Base Emission Inventory (BEI) and the Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) in the Municipalities.
Three BEIs and SEAPs have been developed by ARGEM as an example for the rest of Municipalities.
We are implementing the EEA® (European Energy Award) in 8 municipalities
