5 First-Year Halls 5 first-year residence halls on campus 2 suite style units and 3 traditional style units Rooms wired for phone and internet for each resident All have own computer labs, mailboxes and laundry facilities All students living in first-year halls required to be on meal plan Resident Assistants and Professional Staff live in each building to assist students Hall Council provides activities for residents and is an excellent way to get involved on campus! 90% of first-year students live on campus

6 Upperclassman Complexes 7 upperclassman halls (apartments, traditional and suite style) Rooms wired for phone and internet for each resident All have own computer labs, mailboxes and laundry facilities Residents in an apartment share a kitchen, bathroom and common living area with 3-5 other roommates Residents in a suite share a bathroom and common living area with 3 other roommates Nearly 70% of full-time students live on campus To enhance the liberal arts education at Eastern, we encourage all students to live on campus and get involved with the many clubs and organizations within our community.

7 Campus Safety All residence halls are locked 24 hours a day Only assigned residents have access to the building University Police patrol 24/7 More than 30 blue light emergency phones across campus Student patrol and escort service available Shuttle bus and SAFE rides available Personal safety and security advice included in Orientation and as part of residence hall programming The Eastern Community is encouraged to be proactive participants in safety of all – Report anything unusual!

11 Admission Criteria Freshman Applicants 1020 or higher on critical reading and math SAT - or - ACT equivalent of 22 or higher Solid B average in a strong college prep curriculum Must submit application, high school transcript, SAT or ACT scores, 2 letters of recommendation and essay Interview is optional Transfer Applicants Committee likes to see GPA of 2.5 or higher Must submit application, proof of high school graduation, and all college transcripts Rolling admission process
