FIRST CONDITIONAL We use the FIRST CONDITIONAL to talk about things which might happen in the future. Of course, we can't know what will happen in the future, but this describes possible things, which could easily come true. IF she wins the lottery, she WILL buy a new car. He WILL throw a party IF he passes all his exams. IF it doesn’t stop raining, we WON’T go to the park.

FIRST CONDITIONAL IF + PRESENT SIMPLE, WILL + INFINITIVE WILL + INFINITIVE IF + PRESENT SIMPLE + If it rains, we will stay at home. We will go out if it is sunny. - If I finish my homework, I will go to the cinema. Anna will go shopping, if she isn’t tired from work. ? Will you come to the party if you are not busy?
3
FIRST CONDITIONAL Use if + present to talk about a possible situation and will / won’t + verb to talk about the consequence. The if-clause can come first or second. If the if-clause comes first, we usually put a comma before the next clause. You can also use the imperative or can + infinitive instead of will + infinitive in the other clause. IF you miss the train, you CAN get a taxi.
