As always, choose something that relates to you somehow. Is it your own cultural background, or a culture you are very drawn to, etc?

19. Minimum Requirements Must research another culture and its pottery
This is not simply a replica, it should have your own artistic voice, as well
Must create a power point on this culture and its pottery that you will present to the class

20. OPTION A:
Must create a set of 2 bowls inspired by the culture you have chosen
Must attach feet and handles to bowls
May use any method of construction discussed in class

21. OPTION B:
Must create a set of 3 nesting bowls (bowls that stack inside each other) inspired by the culture you have chosen
May attach feet and handles to bowls (optional)
May use any method of construction discussed in class

22. OPTION C: Must create a set of 4 bowls Must attach feet and/or handles
May create nesting bowls (optional)
May use any method of construction discussed in class

23. Examples of Student work

29. Sketchbook assignment Due Monday, November 25th
3 full page sketches of different ideas for a set based on this culture (or choose 3 different cultures and 1 sketch per culture)
Print and attach at least 3 images of pottery from your culture.
