Cable Modem – Comparable speeds, but limited availability, if at all, in Central PA. Poor security, shared network includes speed drops. Need coax wiring in place. DSL – Comparable speeds, but limited distance from Central Office switch (<3 miles), build out in high density locations only. Fixed Wireless –Comparable speeds, line-of-sight, distance and speed variations available depending on radio and antenna.
