Mass is defined by the amount of matter or the number of atoms an object has.
Mass is measured by a triple beam balance
Mass is measured by the unit grams

9. How to use a balance scale properly
Carry scale with one hand on the bottom & one holding center arm.
Zero out the scale so that the pointer is even with zero.
Make sure you hear a click when moving riders and add up all riders.
Be sure to return all weights back to zero when done measuring.
